A trip to the London eye, a glorified ferris wheel that overlooks the cityscape (ignore the pasty, white girl in the way):
And an exploration of the city of Bath, home, fittingly enough, of Roman baths dating from the time of the destruction of the Second Temple in the first century:
But also something of a modern shopping mecca (including being sometime home to Jane Austen!)

All told, it was a wonderful, refreshing visit. I only wish it had lastest a few more days. Thank you, mom. Having you here was an unspeakable gift.
Anyone else for a trip to the UK?

Hey guys!!!
It's Jason and Missy and family! We got a hold of your blog address from Mom and Dad, and here we are. We'll be reading, for sure. Check out our blog at www.teamwinchell.blogspot.com Miss you both, and your family, and am glad to see photos (especially of your classroom, Julia!). Hang in there guys...
Love to you,
Missy
Hey there! Just found out that you have a blog...can't believe I have been in the dark for so long! It's great to see what you've been up to. You are missed more than you know. We are having Thanksgiving dinner with the Egans and some others and you will surely be on our minds. Maybe we will see you sometime next term. We'd love to make the trip down but, to be honest, just getting all 5 of us to church and back feels like a marathon these days. We love you!
Mary (and boys)
